"THE DEATH OF MR. J. THOS. GLASS TUESDAY MORNING.

"Suffers Stroke of Apoplexy At The Steffey Home; Had Been Teacher In Rural Schools Of This County Many Years: was Man of Splendid Character And Much Ability.

"Mr. J. Thomas Glass, age 46, died Tuesday morning following apoplexy attack. At the time of his death Mr Glass was boarding in the Steffey home in the Beech grove seciton, where he was teaching school.

"Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Glass, New Salem; three sisters, Mrs. Dovie Tolle, of Glasgow; Mrs. Elizabeth Mitchell, of Bowling Green, Mrs. Flossie Ritter, of Nobob; two brothers also survive, Messrs Stephen Glass, of Glasgow, and Isaac Glass, of Florida

"Mr. Glass was a member of the Church of Christ, and a fine gentleman. He was a leader of more than ordinary ability, and a man of fine habits and exemplary character.

Funeral was conducted at the Church of Christ here yesterday, and burial followed in Glasgow Cemetery.
