"Hiseville Girl Dies of Wounds."
Donna Eudy, 11 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Eudy, Hiseville, was fatally injured Sunday morning in a shooting accident that occurred around 9:30 am at the home. Barren County Sheriff Roger McCoy said the girl was accidentally shot when she and her sister, Deborah Lynn Eudy, 14, were playing with a 12 guage shotgun that was believed to be unloaded. The shot reportedly struck Donna in the head. She was taken to Community Hospital, Glasgow, for treatment and then transferred to General Hospital, Louisville, where she died at 12:45 pm Sunday. In addition to her parents, she is survived by three brothers, John Douglas, Gary Dale and Jerry Dewayne, all at home and her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hurt, Glasgow. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 3:00 pm at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home. Burial was in the Smith Cemetery.
