"MR. GEORGE ELMORE
"Mr. George Elmore, often called G. P. Elmore, died at his home near Roseville, yesterday morning at an early hour, at the age of 75 years.
"He spent his entire life in the community in which he died.
"He was a member of the Baptist Church and was an honorable citizen.
"His wife died about 25 years ago but he is survived by six children: Messrs. Jesse Elmore of Catlin, Ill.; Bud and Tank Elmore, Misses Ida and Mary Elmore, all of this county; Mrs. Robert Powell of Louisville.
"One brother, Mr. Haiden Elmore, of this place survives.
"The burial will be in the cemetery at Etoile, today."
