Member Dover Baptist Church. Interred in family burying ground near his home. Brothers: Asa and George Ellis of Bruce; Chris Ellis of Glasgow. Leaves a widow and four sons and 1 daughter: Tom and Joe Ellis of Kansas; Watt Ellis of Bruce; W. G. Ellis and Mrs. Jennie Greer of Glasgow."
