Mollie N ELLIS - 1859 - 1933
"Mrs. Mollie Ellis, wife of Hon. Geo. W. Ellis, died at the family residence two miles South of Glasgow, Sunday, at the age of 74 years, after a lingering illness.
"She is survived by her husband and three sons, Messrs. Floyd Ellis, of this county, Cecil Ellis whose whereabouts are not known, and Earl Ellis of Florida.
"Before marriage she was Miss Mollie Nuckols and was born and reared in the northern part of Barren county.
"Mrs. Ellis was for many years a leading teacher of the county, a devout member of the Baptist church, and one of the very best ladies in the county.
"Funeral services were held at the Baptist church here Tusday morning by Rev. T. F. Grider, followed by burial in the Glasgow cemetery."
