"Mrs. Ellis Dies At Home Near Bruce.
"Mrs. Bettie C. Ellis, 45, wife of Mr. Morton Elllis, died at her home at Bruce, Sunday, and is survived by
her husband and three sons.
Before her marriage, she was Miss Spillman, daughter of the late Rev. John
W. Spillman and is survived by two brothers and one sister, Messrs. Alex and Jim Spillman and Mrs.
Jewell Berry, all of the Bruce-Lucas section.
She was born and spent all her life in the section in which
she died. Mrs. Ellis was a consecrated member of the Baptist Church, and was beloved by all her friends.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday by Rev. J. H. Swann of Tompkinsville, after whict he remains
were interred in the family cemetery.
