"THE DEATH OF HON. W. F. EDMUNDS LAST THURSDAY

"It is with regret that the Times chronicles the passing of its friend, Hon. W. F. Edmunds, for year one of the most prominent, most active men of the west part of Barren county. He was a true blue friend, dependable, and a Democrat of the --- school.

"Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Charles Edmunds, of this county; one daughter, Mrs. T. M. Mobley, Elizabethtown; one son, Roger Edmunds, of Memphis; one sister and one brother also survive - Mrs. P - Lewis and Mr. Ben Edmunds, both of this county.

"Burial was in the Glasgow cemetery Saturday afternoon.

"The county never knew finer, truer man than Mr. Edmunds. --- love dhis friends and they loved him. He was always found on the f-- line for party and friend, and admired and loved by even those opposed because of his fairness integrity. Peace to his ashes!"
