"Rev. W. W. Durham, who for many years was a resident of this county, died at his late home in Wellington, Kas., on the 20th of December, after an illness of three weeks. He was taken home from an appointment in a critical condition, caused by a complication of dropsy and heart trouble, and from this he never recovered. Dr. Durham, in years gone by, was the pastor of Caney Fork, Hanging Fork and Old Dover Baptist churches. He was greatly beloved by these congregations, and the news of his death will be received with the profoundest sorrow by all who knew him in Barren County.
