"Mrs. George Drane Dies in Louisville. Mrs. Geo. Drane, formerly of the Haywood section, died in Louisville, Tuesday night, following an operaton. Before her marriage she was Miss Hattie Steenbergen, and is survived by the following children, Mrs. Tamp Williams and Mr. Pete Drane of Louisville, Mrs. Ebley Peden, Mrs. Rice Read, Mrs. Warner Settles, Mr. Judson Drane, all of this county, Mr. Richard Drane of Detroit. Her brothers and sisters were Miss Tallie Steenbergen, Messrs. Dick Steenbergen, Theo. Steenbergen, Tevie Steenbergen of Washington state, Smith Steenbergen and Lee Steenbergen of California, Willie Steenbergen of the Hawaiian Islands. Mrs. Drane was reared in the southern part of the county, and lived at Haywood for many years. Following the death of her husband last February, she has made her home with Mrs. Williams in Louisville. She was a member of the Baptist Church and was loved by all who had the privilege of her acquaintance. The remains were brought to the home of Mr. Judson Drane, who lives at the old home place, where funeral will be held today and burial will be in the Glasgow cemetery."
