"Mrs. Mollie Dotson died at her home on Boyds Creek Wednesday morning f last week of influenza, after an illnes of about ten days.
"Mrs. Dotson was 73 years of age and was the widow of the late R. J. Dotson. She was a daughter of Levin and Sarah Watson and had been a member of the Methodist Church since girlhood.
"Surviving her are two sons, Reuel Dotson, of this place, and Watt Dotson, who lives on Route No 4, with whom she resided. Two sisters and one brother also survive, Mrs. Lucy Mansfield, Mrs. Anna Goodman and J. E. Watson, all of this community.
"Mrs. Dotson was a splendid woman and beloved by all her knew her.
"Interment was in Morrison burying ground."
