Mrs. Emily Divine of the Mt. Pleasant section died Saturday night at the age of
93 years. She was a pensioner, widow of a Civil War veteran and leaves only one daughter, Mrs. Lassie
Burks of Bowling Green.
Mrs. Divine was long a resident of the section in which she died and was well known as among the
oldest citizens of the county. She lived alone and had been twice married.
The burial was in the cemetery at Mt. Pleasant.
