"MRS. HENRY DEPP DEAD. Mrs. Laura Settle Depp died at the home of her husband, Mr.Henry Depp, in South Glasgow, Thursday evening at half past five o'clock, after an illness of several years. She was a devout member of the Baptist church and was a splendid woman.
"Mrs. Depp was of a kindly nature, a retiring, modest disposition, and was a devoted mother.
"She is survived by her husband and six children: Mrs. M. L. Drane, Misses Genie, Eddie and Bird Depp, and Messrs. Clem and Harry Depp.
"After funeral services conducted by Rev. I. D. S. Knight, the remained were interred in the cemetery at this place.
