Mary W. Dearing

IN MEMORY OF MRS. MARY W. DEARING.

The death of Mrs. Mary W. Dearing, born Oct. 10, 1855, died Oct. 14, 1935.

She was 80 years 3 days old. Married to J. J. Dearing Feb. 20, 1871. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Hattie Powell of Glasgow, Miss Lula and Miss Etta Dearing, J. M. and Leslie Dearing, all of Glasgow; Hardin Dearing of Cambridge City, Ind. two babies died in infancy. There were 8 in all.

She is also survived by one brother, Rev. E. S. Dearing of Louisville, Ky., one sister, Mrs. Mattie Hendrick of Oklahoma.

She was converted in the fall of 1872 and united with the Methodist church in Warren county. In later years was transferred to the Methodist church of Glasgow, Ky. of which she lived a consistent member until her death.

Weep not Dear ones as those that have no hope;
She has gone to that house not made with hands,
Eternally in Heaven, The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh,

Blessed be the name of the Lord, She is gone but will not be forgotten.
