"Marshall H. Button, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Button, died Wednesday, June 7, 4 p.m., at his home in the Freedom section. He had been in ill health several months.
"Surviving are his parents, three sisters, Mrs. Velma May Payne, Monroe county; Mrs. Lorence Payne, Mt. Hermon, and Miss Elizabeth Payne, at home; one brother, James Payne at home.
"Funeral and burial services were held at the Peden cemetery Thursday afternoon at two o'clock, the Rev. Chris Ellis in charge."
