Residence: Louisville KY
Died: Monday, 3 May 2004, NHC Health Care Center in Glasgow where he had spent the last year and a half, age 89.
Known as the "tire man of Louisville", he was associated with Hurry Up Broadway, Time Tire of Louisville and Fleet Tire of New Albany IN until his retirement. For many years he served as chairman of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Special Deputy Committee where he did an outstanding job. Attended First Baptist Church in Shepherdsville IL.
Survivors:
Daughter: Linda Kay Templeton of Coquitlam, British Columbia Two sisters: Anna Gibbs and Mary McGuire of Glasgow
Two grandsons and many nieces and nephews.

Wife: Lillian Brownfield
Parents: R S and Minnie Brownfield
Three brothers: Raymond, Eugene and Jewell"Dee" Brownfield
Services: 1 pm Thursday, 6 May 2004, Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home, burial Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
