Son of the late Joe Henry and Ellen Wilkerson Broady
Retired teacher and coach. Began his career as a
teacher and coach at Park City High School and remained there until 1941 when he moved to
Hodgenville and coached for 12 yrs. In 1953 he returned to Barren County and became Director of Pupil
Personnel for the Barren County School System, a position he held until his retirement. He also served as
International President of Directors of Pupil Personnel. Very active in civic and church organizations. Active member of the PTA and had served as Post B president and Kentucky president. A Kentucky
Colonel, member and past president of Glasgow Golf and Country Club, member of Glasgow Rotary Club
and Glasgow Baptist Church where he taught the Keystone Sunday School Class.

Grandson: Leslie Broady, Greenville KY
Great-grandsons: Ty Cobb and William Thomas Broady, both of Greenville
Step-sons: Marshall Broady of Glasgow, Jessie Broady of Houma, LA and Gary Broady of Nashville TN
Sisters: Maude Bowles, Glasgow, and Gladys Kerfoot of Elizabethtown KY
Step-grandchild: Marsha Broady
Several nieces and nephews.
