"MRS. JOE D. BERTRAM DIES. The death of Mrs. Joe D. Bertram of Etoile, occurred Tuesday night, after an illness of several weeks.

"Before her marriage, she was Miss Nancy Tom Bailey, and she became Mr. Bertram's bride on February 11, 1892. They celebrated their Golden Wedding in 1942.

"Mrs. Bertram was a devout member of the Caney Fork Baptist Church for 56 years. She lived an exemplary life and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

"Surviving are her husband and four children, Mrs. Walter Flowers, (Marjorie), of Owensboro, Messrs. Mark Bertram of Glasgow, Michelle and Bernice Bertram of Etoile, sleven grand-children and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are two sisters; Mrs. Curd Elliott of Temple Hill and Mrs. Will G. Nunn, of Dry Fork.

"Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 2:30 at the Caney Fork Church by Revs. C. E. Carter and T. F. Grider, and interment was in the cemetery at that place."
