Mr. George Bertram committed suicide Monday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. Mary Gentry, at Millersburg, with whom he made his home.
"He was sixty-one years of age, and survived by two sons, Messrs. Bryant Bertram, who lived with his father, and Lloyd Bertram of Rocky Hill. He also leaves three brothers and five
sisters, Messrs. W. D. Bertram of Owensboro, J. Curd Bertram
of Glasgow, Mrs. Martha Spradlin, Mrs. Mary Gentry, Mrs.Eliza
Jordan and Mrs. W.H. Chisolm, all of this county.
"Of the nine children of the late O. D. Bertram, George was the first to pass away.
"He spent his entire life in the section in which he was born and died.
"He was a memberof the Baptist Church at Mt. Pleasant, where fuenral and burial were held Tuesday afternoon, the funeral being preached by the Rev________ [blank].
"Mr. Bertram's suicide followed a long spell of sickness."
