"Mr. S. B. Beck Dead. Mr. Sidney Beck died at his home, some four miles from town, yesterday morning at one o'clock. Although his death was a surprise to his friends, Mr. Beck had been ill for some time with Bright's Disease. He was a correct, upright good citizen, and a most excellent man, and his death will be sincerely regretted by all who knew him. Mr. Beck was sixty-four years of age at the time of his death.
The remains were interred in the family burying ground near his residence yesterday."
