U. T. "NOON" BARBOUR - 8 June 1865 - 12 Feb 1925

"Mr. "Noon" Barbour Dead. Mr. U. T. Barbour, better known as "Noon" Barbour, died at his residence a mile east of Morrison Park the 12th of pneumonia, at the age of 59 years. He was a bachelor and had spent his entire life in the immediate neighborhood in which he died. His parents died many years ago and he is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Messrs. Geo. R. Barbour of Holyoke, Colo.; Bibb Barbour of Pekin, Ill.; W. L. Barbour of Glasgow; J. J.
Barbour of Oleoak; J. S. Barbour of Morrison Park; Mrs. J. W. Peden of Fallen Timber.  Mr. Clarence Barbour of this place is a half brother. Mrs. Will Payne and Miss Nettie Barbour of this place are half sisters. Mr. Barbour was a quiet, industrious citizen who had no enemies but many friends. The remains were interred in the Barbour burying ground after funeral services by Rev. J. L. Piercey of this place."
