"MR. AMBROSE BALDOCK. Mr. Ambros Baldock died at his home between the Burtkesville and Tompkinsville roads, five miles from town, early Tuesday morning, at the age of 85 years. [April 8, 1930]
"He is survived by his aged wife, who was Miss Nan Vickers, and four children: Messrs. George and John Baldock and Mrs. Malcome Smith all of the same neighborhood, and Mrs. Lizzie Parker of Bon Ayr. He is also survived by two brothers and one sister, Mr. Albert Baldock of Summer Shade, who is 89, Mr. Henry Baldock and Mrs. Kate Ford, both of near Eighty-Eight.
"Mr. Baldock was born and reared in the Nobob section and spent his entire life in the country.
"He was a member of the Baptist Church and was a good quiet citizen.
"Burial was in the cemetery at Poplar Spring, yesterday."
