Will Adams
"Was killed by a discharged negro section hand in Christian Co. last Friday. Negro was discharged because Mr. Adams had been ordered to cut down the force of section hands. When told he could not use him, the Negro knocked him down with a rock and then cut his throat. Murderer in jail at Hopkinsville. Adams was raised near Glasgow; married Miss Waldrop of this place.
