This indenture, made and entered into on this the 10th day of Aug. 1900, by and between George McCoy and his wife Mattie McCoy, party of the first part, and John McCoy party of the second part, all of the County of Barren and State of Ky., Witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the sum of $95.00 Ninety five Dollars cash in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknoeledged. The parties of the first part have bargained and sold and by this deed do bargain, sell and convey unto the party of the second part, my interest which is one-half of the following described tract or parcel of land: Begining at a white oak N.9 E.32 poles to a poplar; thence N.15 1/2 E.171 poles to Ford's corner; thence E. 35 poles to a stone; thence S.16 W.185 poles to a stone; thence S.63 E.11 poles to a poplar stump near the Randolph road; thence S.72 1/2 E. 42 poles to the begin- ing, containing 41 acres, more or less. Parties of the first part wave and relinquish all right and title of dower and homestead exemption, with conenant of General Warranty. George McCoy Mattie T. McCoy

State of Kentucky County of Barren. Sct. I, N. D. Terry, Clerk of the Barren County Court, certify that the forgoing deed to Jno:McCoy was, on the 10 day of Aug. 1900, acknowledged by Geo. McCoy and his wife Mattie McCoy, to be their act and deed before Dee W. Peers, and acting Deputy Clerk for me, as appears from his endorsement thereon as follows: "Acknowledged before me this 10 day of Aug. 1900, by George McCoy and his wife, Mattie McCoy seperate and apart to be their act and deed. N.D. Terry C.B.C.C. By Dee W. Peers D.C." And was on this dat filed in my office for record, and the same and this certificate have been recorded in my said office. Witness my hand this 14th day of May 1904. N. D. Terry C.B.C.C.
