Barren County to Isaac Moore
5 January 1827
Joseph Desha Esq. Governor of the
Commenwealth of Kentucky. To all to whom these presents
shall come Know Ye That by virtue and in consideration of
a Certificate No 1581 granted by the Commonwealth in 1795
Agreeably to an Act of Assembly for encouraging and
granting relief to Settlers there is granted by the said
Commonwealth unto Isaac Moore assign of John
Whitledge who was assignee of Reuben
Camp a certain tract or parcel of Land
containing two hundred acres by survey, bearing date the
thirteenth day of September one thousand eight hundred
and eleven being in the County of Barren on the head
Waters of Rose Creek Waters of Big Barren and bounds and
followeth to with Beginning at a white oak dogwood and
poplar running thence East one hundred & seventy nine
poles to a white oak dogwood thence North one hundred and
seventy nine poles to a Black oak and dogwood thence West
one hundred and seventy nine poles to two poplars and
black gum thence South seventy nine poles to the
Beginning These appurtenances to have and to hold the
said tract or parcels of Land and to appertaining to said Isaac Moore and his heirs forever on
Witness whereof the said Joseph Desha Es1
Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky hath here unto
set his hand and caused the Seal of the said Commonwealth
to be affixed at Frankfort on the fifth day of January in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
twenty seven and of the Commmonwealth the thirty fifth By
the Governor
