MORRISON, Hugh Virginia S 36180

Allen County, 18, May 1820. HUGH MORRISON, now in his 66th year states on oath that he enlisted 22 Sept. 1775 under CAPT. JOHN GREEN 1st Va. Regt. Served 1 year. Same day of his discharge. Reenlisted under Capt. John Willis of 2nd Va. regt. Served 3 years. At the time of his last discharge he was sergeant of his company.

Same date. WIOT MITCHELL of Allen County, deposes that he well recollects HUGH MORRISON enlisting in CAPT. JOHN GREEN's Co. as he (MITCHELL) enlisted in the same company of the same exact day. Sworn before CHRISTOPHER TOMPKINS Circuit Judge.

18 May 1820. THOMAS HAWKINS of Allen County, in whose family HUGH MORRISON lives, made oath that said MORRISSON under CAPTAIN JOHN WILLIS in 2nd Va. Regt. JOHN PULLIAM gives similar testimony.

24 Aug. 1820, Allen County, Ky. HUGH MORRISSON aged about 66 gives schedule of his property.
