WALKER D. HOLLAND

At a County Court began and held at
Scottsville, Ky., on the 8th day of May, 1899. An
instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and
Testament of Walker D. Holland Decd., was produced in
open court and recorded and established as the last will
and testament of said, decedent and as such ordered to
probate. I, Walker D. Holland of Allen County and State of Kentucky, being of sound and disposing mind, do hereby declare the following to be my last Will and Testament. First: That all just debts including my burial expenses be paid. Second: I will to Sophia C. Holland my beloved wife all my personal property including household and Kitchen furniture. Stocks - Cash - and Cash notes. Also the land I purchased of John Thornton, It being my homestead to have during her life. At her death all the property, then to be divided equally between the Children of which we are father and mother. In Testimony of the above I here enter and sign my name. This August 16th day 1898. Justice, Clerk of the Allen County Court, do certify that the forgoing Instrument of writing, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Walker D. Holland, decd., was produced in open court on the 8th day of May 1899 and read & proved by J. H. Strain one of the witnesses and the same allowed as the last Will & answered to probate where upon I have duly recorded same and this Certifies in my said office + Given under my hand. May 8th 1899 |
