OBITUARY: Collins, Rosie Mae (Coldiron) From: vivianmoon@juno.com Date:March 12, 2004 March 12, 2004 Middletown Journal, Middletown, Ohio Rosie Mae Collins Mrs. Rosie Mae Collins, 77, formerly of 20 N. Pioneer Blvd., Springboro, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at Hillspring Nursing Home. She was born on Feb. 5, 1927, in Campton, [Wolfe County], Ky., the daughter of Luther and Judy Coldiron. Mrs. Collins was a member of the Dixie Highway Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paris Collins, 1970; a brother, Vernon Coldiron; a sister, Jane Richey; and a stepson, Jerry Collins. She is survived by her children, Sandi Miller of Somerset, Ky., Wanda and (Dale) Greene of Franklin, Ohio, and Jack Collins of Franklin, Ohio; stepdaughter-in-law Juanita Collins of Franklin, Ohio; stepdaughter Joann Johnson of Middletown, Ohio; stepson Paul and (Linda) Collins of Carlisle, Ohio; four grandchildren, Kimberly and (Brian) Meeker of Carlisle, Ohio, Joseph and (Chiara) Shupert of Honolulu, Hawaii, Michael and (Suzy) McCray of Cherokee, Iowa, and Misty Joseph of Somerset, Ky.; three great-grandchildren, Elijah, Sarah and Joshua McCray of Cherokee, Iowa; brothers Cecil, Bill and Glenn Coldiron of Ohio, and Felix Coldiron of Kentucky; and sisters Ada Gentry, Leona Hounshell, Daisy Mulligan, Gladys Harville, and Ruby Wallace, all of Ohio, and Maxine Shockley and Irene Holt, both of Tennessee. The family extends a very special ⤦thank you? with much gratitude and deep appreciation to Hospice of Dayton and Hillspring Nursing Home of Springboro for the outstanding devotion and loving care shown to our precious mother during her illness and our loss. ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second St., Franklin, with Mrs. Collins⤁ grandson, Michael McCray, officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in the Springboro Cemetery.
