CARROLL, age 78, of Middletown, Ohio passed away June 10, 2005 at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born January 2, 1927 in Wolfe County, Kentucky to Edward and Dovie Carroll. Omer was a machine operator for 49 years at Aeronca retiring in 1990. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church and the Common Wealth of Kentucky Colonels. He was preceded in death by his parents; several brothers and sister; a grandson, Jason Figley; and father-in-Law, Dennis L. Schultz. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Karen D. Carroll; mother-in-law- Charlene M. Schultz of Trenton, Ohio; daughters Judy (Richard) Burton of Fairfield, Ohio, Linda (Joe) Presas of West Carrollton, Ohio, and Brita (Deron) Brown of Middletown, Ohio; grandchildren Gregory Cox, Eric Cox, Kimberly Leonard, Derek Brown, and Dylan Brown; great grandchildren Matthew Figley, Sean Figley, Mariah Cox, Amber Cox, Austin Cox and Caleb Cox; sisters Opal Hambright ! and Helen Kruegar, both of Michigan, and Ruby Miller of Kentucky; sisters-in-law Donna Bendel of Trenton, Ohio, Debra Olinger of Hamilton, Ohio, and Jeannie Whitaker of Cincinnati, Ohio. Visitation will be held Monday, June 13, 2005 5-8 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. Services will be Tuesday, June 14, 2005 10 AM at the funeral home with interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion Post #218 Honor Guard.
