Maxine (King) Barnes

Maxine BARNES, age 79, of Franklin, Ohio passed away Monday, 
May 9, 2005 at Willow Knoll Nursing Home. She was born March 31, 
1926 in Wolfe County, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and has 
lived in the Franklin/Middletown area for 49 years. She was a member 
of Poasttown Church of God. Maxine was preceded in death by her 
parents-Clarence Clayton and Ethel Lee (Caudill) King; and brother-
Clarence King, Jr. She is survived by daughters-Lahoma Moore of 
Middletown, Ohio and Francis (Danny) Mullins of Sardinia, Ohio; 
sons- Robert Michael Barnes of Chillicothe, Ohio, Al (Brenda) 
Barnes, Jr. of West Alexandria, Ohio and Ronnie C. Barnes of 
Arizona; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and sister-Rita 
Green of Reading, Ohio. Visitation will be Friday, May 13, 2005 
from 1-2 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home with services following 
at 2 PM with Rev. Don O'Hair. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant 
Cemetery in Poasttown. Memorials may be made to the American 
Heart Association-Ohio Valley Affiliate-P.O. Box 182039 Dept. 013-
Columbus, Ohio 43218-2039. Baker-Stevens Funeral Home is 
handling the arrangements.
