JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON HOBERT BANKS FROM THE MIDDLETOWN (OH) JOURNAL 6/27/07 Hobert Banks, Age 73, of Middletown, OH passed away June 25, 2007 at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born October 5, 1933 in Campton, KY to Ova and Rosa Banks. He was an electrician for Daniel's Construction for 20 years, retiring in 1976. He attended Lewis Street Praise and Worship Center. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #501 and a past member of the Eagles. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Sylvester and William "Bill" Banks; and parents-in-law Grant and Ida Miller. Hobert is survived by his wife of 53 years Martha Banks; sons Wayne (Marcia) Banks of Middletown, Greg (Brenda) Banks of Trenton, OH, Vernon (Millie) Banks of Middletown, Scott Banks of Dandridge, TN and Johnny Banks of Newton, NC; daughter Kathy (Gary) Stites of Monroe, OH; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers Oscar Banks of Lexington, KY, Rondall (Bonnie) Banks and Mark Banks both of Stanton, KY; sisters Orneda Hale of Middletown, Marie Banks of Woodhaven, MI, Nell Banks and Betty Faye (Eugene) Watkins both of Campton, KY; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be June 27, 2007 5:00 - 8:00 at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be June 28, 2007 at 10:00 with Rev. Kenny Angel officiating also at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
