Age 91, of Willow Knoll Retirement Community died Saturday, September 2, 2006. He formerly lived in the Red Lion area for 60 years. He was born in Middletown on March 8, 1915 to Clarence Carberry and Mary Luella (Stubbs) Carberry. On August 6, 1938, Edward was united in marriage with Josephine Linkous in Campton, Kentucky. He was an employee of Polar Bear Tobacco Company and Armco. He was a member of the Towne Blvd. Church of God. Mr. Carberry was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; his brother, James; his sisters, Mabel DeHart and Edna McKoy; a grandson, Shane; and a great-grandson, Richard. Edward is survived by his four children, James (Vivien) Carberry of Hunter, Mary (David) Lansaw of Monroe, Carole (Scott) McPherson of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and Timothy Carberry of Middletown; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joanne Mikesell. The family wants to thank Willow Knoll for their care these past eight years. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 5, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Towne Blvd. Church of God, 3722 Towne Blvd, Franklin, Ohio, with Rev. Frank Curtis officiating. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Towne Blvd. Church of God in memory of Edward.
