OBITUARY: Honshul, Robert Kenneth - Thursday, February 3, 2011 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************* HONSHUL, Robert Kenneth Age 90, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011. He was born August 5, 1920 in Wolfe County, Kentucky and retired from Armco Steel in 1981. Robert was a very proud, decorated veteran and member of Home Avenue First Church of God. He entered the Army Air Corp in 1942 and was in the Bataan Death March. He was a Japanese P.O.W. at Cabanatuan Prison Camp in the Philippines for 3-1/2 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Ruth; brothers, Kash, H.C., Donald; and sisters, Wanda and Josephine. He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Vojack and Becky Brewster; twobbb brothers, Roy (Mary), Russ (Jenny); numerous nieces and nephews; numerous grandchildren; step grandchildren; great grandchildren; step children; and his very special companion and caregiver, Sally Gentry. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday at the Home Avenue First Church of God, Trenton, with Reverend Todd Wallen officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time at the church. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park.
