COCKERHAM DIES IN LEX. Claude Cockerham, 81, died Saturday, April 22 at the Homestead Nursing Home, Lexington after an extended illness. He was a native of Wolfe County and attended the Church of Christ. Survivors are his wife, Mary Profitt Cockerham; four sons, Emerson Cockerham of Morgan County, William Cockerham of Middletown, Ohio, Olith Cockerham and Kennith Cockerham both of Hazel Green; five daughters, Mrs. Lester Dunn, Mrs. Corbett Fallen and Mrs. Betty Callahan all of Campton, Mrs. Ann Bone and Mrs. James Denney both of Middletown, Ohio; nineteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Kidd of Morgan County. Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 24 at the Landsaw Church of Christ with Rev. Willie Taylor and Rev. Doyle Thomas officiating.
