VICTOR CARROLL DIES IN POWELL
 
Victor Carroll, 67, of Airport Road, Stanton, formerly of Wolfe County,
died at 3:15 p.m. Wed. June 16 at his residence.  Mr. Carroll was the
son of the late Ed and Dovey Profitt Carroll.  He was a native of Wolfe
County and an employee of Sipple Brick, Inc.
 
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Pergram Carroll of Stanton'; one
step-son, James L. Mize of Middletown, Ohio; one step-daughter, Phyllis
Boothe of Stanton; three brothers, Vaughn Carroll of Campton, Seldon and
Omer Carroll, both of Middletown, Ohio; three sisters, Opal Hambright of
Burr Oak, Michigan, Ruby Miller of Winchester, and Helen Terrill of
Sturgis, Michigan; 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were conducted Sat. June 19, at 2:30 p.m. at the Porter
and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Chamberlain officiating.
Burial was in the Carroll family cemetery with Porter and Son Funeral
Home in charge of arrangements.
