ELBERT CENTERS DIES JUNE 20TH      
 
Elbert Centers, 59 of Valeria Route, Campton, died Sunday, June 20 at
the Campton Medical Clinic of an apparent heart attack.  Mr. Centers was
a son of the late Floyd and Christina King Centers and a native of Wolfe
County.
 
Survivors include his wife, Mary Belle Banks Centers; two sons, Robert
Dean Banks of Clay City and Thomas Lee Banks of Campton, three
daughters, Judy Dunn of Newport News, Virginia, Christine Brewer of
Campton, and Jerelene Centers of Campton; one brother Herbert Centers 
of West Carrollton, Ohio; three sisters, Ruby Estepp and Dorothy Brewer,
both of Middletown, Ohio, and Orpha Helton of Valeria.
 
Funeral services were conducted Wed. June 23 at 1 p.m. at the Porter and
Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Omer Spencer officiating.  Burial in
the Centers Cemetery at Callaboose with Porter and Son Funeral Home in
charge of arrangements.
