CHILDERS DIES MARCH 14 AT AGE OF 72 Mrs. Maggie Buchanan Childers, born Feb. 19, 1884 and died on March 14, 1956 at the age of 72. She joined the Church of Christ at the age of 15 years and was baptized by the late Henry Taylor. She was united in marriage to Richard A. Childers, September 4, 1902. To this union was born eight children, Clayton, Childers, Crittenden, Hoy Childers, Stanton, Rollie Childers, Landsaw, Mrs. Willie Hollon, Crittenden, Earnie Childers, Williamstown, Earl Childers, Dayton, Ohio, Elzie Childers, Landsaw and Jesse Childers, deceased. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the Church of Christ, Landsaw, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 17 with the Reverends A.C. Lawson and John Dalton officiating. The Landsaw choir furnished the music and arrangements were in charge of the Hearne Funeral Home.
