Obituary: Cable, Dorsie - Friday, October 3, 1980 Wolfe County News - Oct. 10, 1980 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** DEATH CLAIMS DORSIE CABLE Dorsie Cable, 83, of Campton died Friday, Oct. 3, at the Nim Henson Nursing Home at Jackson following an extended illness. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War I. Surviving are two sisters, Dixie Tutt and Mary Cable, both of Campton, one brother, Clifton Cable of Vortex. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. at the Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Campton by Rev. Omer Spencer and Rev. Shelvy Pelfrey. Burial was in the family cemetery at Flat under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home.
