ELVIN CAMPBELL OF CAMPTON DIES
 
Elvin Campbell, 79, husband of Sadie Lacy Campbell, of Campton, died 
at his home a 3:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, following  a long illness.  
He was a native of Wolfe County and a retired farmer.  He was a son 
of the late Frank and Eliza Levisey Campbell.
 
Other survivors include three sons, Roy Campbell of Franklin, Ohio,
Orville and Earl Campbell, both of Scottsburg, Ind., three daughters,
Mrs. Edna Linkous of Campton, Mrs. Ethyl Culbertson, Mt. Sterling, and
Mrs. Lula O'Hair of Middletown, Ohio; one brother, Robert Campbell of
Middletown, Ohio and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Luke of Middletown, Ohio 
and Mrs. Mellie Dennis of Franklin, Ohio; 38 grandchildren and a large
number of great grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 26, at the
Maytown Community Church with Rev. Omer Spencer officiating.  Burial 
was in the Lane Cemetery at Valeria.  Funeral arrangements were under 
the direction of Porter and Son Funeral Home, Campton.
