DEATH CLAIMS SIDNEY CREECH
 
Sidney Creech, 55, of Valeria, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the
Appalachian Regional Hospital in West Liberty.
 
Mr. Creech was the son of Alec Creech of Versailles, and the late
Margaret Murphy Creech.  He was a native of Wolfe County and a truck
driver for over twenty years.
 
Survivors other than his father are two sons, Larry Creech and David
Creech, both of Valeria; two daughters, Carolyn Lykins and Judy Barnett,
both of  Pomeroyton; five brothers, Jerry Creech of Versailles, Noah
Creech of Dayton, Ohio, Hiram Creech of Cincinnati, Ohio, Floyd Creech
of  Valeria, and Henry Creech of Lexington; three sisters, Frances
Creech and Thelma Smith, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mildred Roberts
of Stanton, and four grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at the 
Pine Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Ernest Lawson and Oliver Dalton
officiating.  Burial in the family cemetery at Valeria with Porter and
Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
