SCOTT BAILEY OF LEE CITY DIES March 9       
 
Mr. Scott L. Bailey, 68, Lee City, died Saturday, March 9 at the Good
Samaritan Hospital at Lexington.
 
Mr. Bailey was born Sept. 4, 1916 in Morgan County, a son of the late
Marion Bailey and Louellan Elam Bailey.  He was preceded in death by a
son, Phillip Darrell Bailey and by a grandson, Gregory Bailey.
 
Survivors are his wife, Maxine Rudd Bailey of Lee City; one daughter,
Mildred Marie Beaty of Franklin, Indiana; two sons, Milford Gay Bailey
of Lee City and James Lee Bailey of Connersville, Indiana; two sisters,
Vernie Taulbee of Campton and Margaret Walters of Tenn.; two brothers,
Jack Bailey of Campton and Calvin Bailey of Means, Ky.; ten
grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were conducted March 11 at the Belknap Holiness Church
with Brother John Oldfield, Jr., officiating.  Burial in the Rudd
Cemetery at Lee City with Herald and Stewart Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
