Wolfe County News - June 25, 1952

FUNERAL RITES AT CAMPTON FOR WM. COLLINS

Funeral services were held at the Campton Baptist Church on Tuesday 
afternoon, June 17 at two o'clock for William Omer Collins, 36, son of 
Mrs. Rinda Rose Elkins of Stonewall, Okla. and the late William Collins of 
Wolfe County.

William Omer, a farmer was fatally injured Friday, June 13 at Mason, 
Ohio, when a tractor which he ws operating over turned.

The funeral messages were brought by Rev. Sam Rose and Rev. Joe 
Profitt, the latter being the pastor of the Campton Baptist church.  Burial 
was in the Evan's cemetery.

Surivors include his wife, Mrs. Susie Collins, Dayton, Ohio; a 
daughter, Donnie Collins, 12, his mother, Mrs. Rinda Elkins, Stonewall, Okla., 
and a brother, Sterling Collins, Rockaway Ore., other relatives and 
friends.

He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Baptist Church.
