Obituary:, Dunn, Vernice Cockerham - Wednesday, August 7, 1974 Wolfe County News - Aug. 1974 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** VERNICE DUNN PASSES AUG. 7 Mrs. Vernice Dunn, 58, wife of Taylor Dunn of Campton, d. suddenly at 3:00 a.m. Wed, Aug. 7, of a heart attack. She had been ill for several weeks. She was the d/o the late Floyd and Nannie Cox Cockerham, a native of Morgan County, and a member of the Daysboro Christian Church, and Hazel Green Chapter NO. 514 Order of Eastern Star. Survivors besides her husband include her two sons, T.C. Dunn of Campton and Henry Clay Dunn of Norwood, Ohio; five daughters, Mrs. Reva Fulks, and Mrs. Carolyn Prater, both of Campton, Mrs. Vernedia Stamper of Frankfort, Mrs. Betty Jo Hall of Newport, and Mrs. Billie Jean Nickels of Bethel, Ohio; four brothers, Omer Robert, and Milford Cockerham, all of Franklin, Ohio, and Willis Cockerham of Beattyville, W., VA; one sister, Mrs. Beatrice Dunn of Franklin, Ohio, 24 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
