MISS NELL EVANS DIES DEC. 29

Miss Nell Evans, age 62 died at the home of Mrs. Katherine Riggs at 
Campton after a lingering illness.  She had been ill a long time, first at 
her home in Hazel Green then in the hospital at Lexington and finally 
at Campton.  She passed away in the early morning hours, on Sunday, Dec. 
29.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Lula Ward of Latonia Beech, 
Fla., Mrs. Lin? Cecil of Honaker, Va., and Mrs. Mattie Boyd of Honaker, Va.

The daughter of Mrs. Boyd, Mrs. Geraldine Rowe, and a nephew, Maran 
Boyd, who came with their mother to the funeral.  An uncle, Mr. Douglas 
Evans of Campton, an aunt, Mrs. Lillie Horton of Campton, some cousins, 
and Mrs. Alpha Galbreath all of Campton.

Funeral services were conducted by the Revs. C.M. Seale and Earl Morris 
at the Campton Methodist Church at ten a.m. Monday, Dec. 30.  Burial 
followed in the family lot at Hazel Green.
