Ballard Drake, 87, Jackson d. Dec. 14 at the Nim Henson Nursing Home,
Jackson, after an extended illness.
 
Mr. Drake was a member of the Baptist Church, and Cox Lodge No. 464
F&AM, Campton.  He was a retired employee of Inter Lake Steel Co. of
Newport.
 
Survivors are his wife, Thelma Allen Drake, Campton.  One step-daughter,
Carole Bays, Ohio.  Four brothers: Carter Drake, Wisconsin, Wade Drake,
Wisconsin, Seldon Drake, Campton, Fred Drake, Campton.  One sister:
Myrtle Little, Campton.
 
Masonic services were conducted at the funeral home.
 
Burial in the Evans Cemetery, Campton, with Shackelford Funeral Home,
Campton, in charge of arrangements.
