Obituary: Cockerham, James K. - Saturday, March 3, 2001 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** CARLISLE -- James K. Cockerham, 55, of Carlisle, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2001, at Hospice of Dayton. He was employed at BCI Boxboard Corp., in Franklin. Cockerham was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ida Cockerham, and two sisters, Edna and Maggie. He is survived by his wife, Maudie; two brothers, Earl of Middletown and Arthur (A.C.) of Carlisle; and five sisters, Gladys Stamper and Anna Lou Tyree, both of Campton, Ky., Gertude Trimble of Gratis, Opal Kessler of Kettering and Faye Pence of Carlisle. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and friends. ARRANGEMENTS: He was a member of Community Jesus Church, 5309 Tinch Lane, off Dayton-Oxford Road, Franklin, where funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Henry Neace and the Rev. Frank Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery in Monroe. The family will receive friends starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the church. MEMORIALS: Flowers may be sent to the church or memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
