Obituary:  Cockerham, Arthur Courtney "A.C." - Wednesday, August 3, 2005

Arthur Courtney "A.C." Cockerham, age 69 of Carlisle, Ohio died
Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Campton,
Kentucky on January 12, 1936 to Clarence and Ida Cockerham. He was
formerly employed by Inland Container for 40 years and retired in 1996.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jim Cockerham;
sisters, Maggie Tutt, Edna Campbell, and Irene Cockerham. Surviving are
his wife of 9 years, Audrey (Turner) Cockerham; son, Gregory Dean
Cockerham of Gary, NC; stepdaughter, Darlene Watts and husband, Art of
Carlisle; brother and sisters, Earl Cockerham and wife, Martha of
Middletown, Gladys Stamper of Kentucky, Ann Tyra of Campton, Kentucky,
Gertrude Trimble of Middletown, Opal Kesler of Kettering and Fay Pence
of Carlisle; two grandchildren, Zachary Dean and Ethan Nathaniel
Cockerham; two step grandchildren, Zachary and Josiah Albert. Funeral
services will be on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at 10:00 am at the 
AndersonFuneral Home, 1357 E. Second St., Franklin with Reverend 
Frank Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
