WOLFE NATIVE DIED TUESDAY AT AGE OF 85

Mrs. Lottie Elkins Campbell, 85 died February 7 at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Nathan Brewer, Campton.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Electra Brewer, Campton, Mrs. 
Jerusha Finningham, Chicago, Ill, and Mrs. Orpha Callahan, Lexington.  
Also two step daughters: Mrs. Margarette Allen and Mrs. Nancy Yokum, 
both of Middletown, Ohio; two stepsons, Gale and Isaac Elkins, Kinford 
Heights, Ind., and three sisters, Mrs. Nancy Gibbs, Lexie, Mrs. Belle 
Profitt, Gilmore and Mrs. Martha Adams, Kinford Heights, Ind; 13 
grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was born in Wolfe County May 10, 1879 and was a member of the 
Hargue Methodist Church in Estill county.  The body was taken to the B.F. 
Porter Funeral Home where lay in state until Thursday afternoon at 1:00 
p.m. at which time it was taken to the Campton Methodist Church for the 
funeral.

Rev. Murrel, pastor and Rev. Strong participated in conducting the 
funeral service.  Burial was in the East Salem-Church Cemetery in Estill 
county under the direction of B.F. Porter and Son Funeral Home.
