Obituary: Brewer, Docia Caudill - Thursday, January 1976 Wolfe County News - Jan. 23, 1976 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** Docia Brewer, 74, of Williamsburg, Ohio, and formerly of Campton, where she as a retired school teacher in the Wolfe County School System, died of a heart attack. {another sentence but too smudged to read, see below] She was a native of Wolfe County, a member of the Baptist Church, and daughter of the late Wilburn and Cardella Banks Caudill. She is survived by her husband, Brack Brewer; one son, Paul E. Brewer, Norwood, Ohio; five daughters, Mrs. Imogene Duvall, Mason, Ohio, Mrs. Mary Lewis of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Mrs. Ila Levenez of Milford, Ohio, Mrs. Magdalene Davidson, Cincinnati, and Mrs. Joyce Melton, Hazard; two brothers, Solomon Caudill of Eustis, Florida and Albert Caudill of Williamsburg, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Nora Mullins of Trenton, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1: p.m. Thursday Jan. 15, at the Campton Baptist Church with Rev. David E. Miller officiating and Rev. Lee Tolson assisting. Burial was in the Evans Cemetery with Porter and Son Funeral Home of Campton in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Michel Davidson, Wayne Davidson, Robie Duvall, Bob Duvall, Dick Cox, and Oscar Tolson. NOTE: The smudged line may have been her birth and death date.
