Obituary: Beasley, John - Sunday, November 27, 1977 Wolfe County News - Dec. 2, 1977 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** DEATH CLAIMS JOHN BEASLEY John Beasley, 97, formerly of Route 1, Campton died suddenly at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington at 5:00 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, after a long illness. He was a native of Wolfe County, a retired farmer, and attended the Baptist Church. He is survived by four sons, Theodore Beasley of Hazel Green, George and Drew Beasley, both of Middletown, Ohio and Carl Beasley of Lucasville, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Mable Hollon of Middletown, Ohio and Mrs. Evalee Watts of Campton; two brothers, Joe Beasley, of Lucasville, Ohio and Charlie Beasley of New Boston, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Ida Bachman, Hamilton, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29 at the Porter and Son Funeral Home with Rev. L.M. Cockerham officiating. Burial was in the O'Hair Cemetery at Trent.
