PEARL COMBS DIES FEB. 28
 
Mrs. Pearl L. Combs, 79 of Pine Ridge died Thursday, Feb. 28, 
at the St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington after a short illness.
 
Mrs. Combs was a native of Wolfe County, and a member of the
Presbyterian Church.
 
Survivors are her husband, Fitch Combs; one step-son John Fitch 
Combs of New Orleans, Louisiana; two step-daughters, Nannie C. 
Terry of Austin, Indiana, and Mrs. Dorothy Faye Jacobs of Columbus, 
Ohio; two sisters, Ada Rose of Bethany, and Mattie Fultz of Scottsburg, 
Indiana.
 
Funeral services were conducted Sat. March 1 at Shackelford Funeral 
HomeChapel with Rev. Doyle Thomas officiating.  Burial was in the 
Evans Cemetery, Campton with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge 
of arrangements.
